Thanksgiving recipes

I was apalled by many Thanksgiving recipes in the food issue, especially those laden with sugar. The recipe featuring carrots and golden raisins was horrifying. I'll try to look at them again but I was so put off that it will take some time to do so.

I wish more advertisers in the food issue refrained from the noxious noun 'diabetic.' The epilepsy association has a good slogan, 'Epilepsy is what I have, not who I am.'
