Boning Up

Jumping around might make your bones stronger, according to research that showed that high-impact exercises build bone mass. A study of men 19 to 45 years old found that running increased bone mass more than low-impact cycling or resistance training. Jumping rope or skipping should also give bone-building a bounce. But high-impact exercise can be tough on the joints.
