Diabetized Buttery Biscuits
ingredients
1 cup self-rising flour
3 Tbsp. olive oil
1 1/2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
1/3 cup nonfat buttermilk or fat-free milk
preparation
- Preheat the oven to 450 degrees. Place the flour in a mixing bowl. Using a fork, stir in the oil until coarse crumbs form. Mix in the cheese and then add the milk a little at time until combined.
- Drop the batter by heaping tablespoons onto a nonstick baking sheet and bake for 12 to 15 minutes, until lightly browned.
