Field Green Salad with Cranberry Vinaigrette
ingredients
Vinaigrette
1 cup canned whole-berry cranberry sauce
1/2 cup orange juice
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
2 Tbsp. olive oil
2 tsp. minced ginger
1 tsp. sugar
Salt and pepper to taste
Salad
16 cups field greens
4 cups sliced apples (about 4 medium apples)
1/4 cup orange juice
2 cups thinly sliced red onion
Garnish
1/2 cup toasted walnuts

Preparation time: 25 minutes
1. Combine all ingredients for the vinaigrette.
2. To prepare the salad, place the field greens on a large platter or in a large bowl. Toss the apples with orange juice and add to the field greens. Top with walnuts. Drizzle on the vinaigrette.
