Raspberry Dessert Sauce

1 pint fresh raspberries
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. lemon juice
1/4 tsp. almond extract
1/2 tsp. unflavored gelatin

1. Press the raspberries through a fine sieve to extract the juice, leaving the seeds behind.
2. Add the raspberry juice to a saucepan. Add the sugar, lemon juice, almond extract, and gelatin. Set aside for 5 minutes to soften the gelatin.
3. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the gelatin is dissolved and the mixture is hot. Remove from heat and cool.
