Preparation time: 20 minutes
Cook time: 7-8 minutes
1. On a large plate combine the flour, sesame seeds, salt and pepper. Dredge each piece of tuna into the sesame seed mixture. It will help the seeds adhere if the tuna is just a little wet. You may have to pat the sesame seeds onto the fish as well.
2. In a large skillet over high heat, heat the oil. When the oil is hot add the tuna and sear on both sides for about 2 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set in a 400 degree oven and roast for 4 to 5 minutes. Keep warm while you prepare the glaze. If you prefer your tuna to be well cooked, roast for an additional 3 minutes until the center is no longer pink.
3. Add the glaze ingredients to a small saucepan. Bring to a boil and heat until the mixture thickens. Serve the glaze with the tuna. Garnish with green onions.
