Turkey and Beef Soup Provençal

1/2 lb. lean ground turkey
1/2 lb. lean ground beef
2 cans (15 oz.) white beans, drained
2 cans (15 oz.) low-fat, reduced-sodium chicken broth
2 cans (14 oz.) diced tomatoes with garlic and onion, undrained
1 tsp. dried herbs de Provençe, crushed
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1 (10-oz.) package frozen chopped spinach, thawed
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1. In a large saucepan, brown the ground turkey and ground beef over medium heat, about 5 to 7 minutes, breaking up into 3/4-inch crumbles. Drain.
2. Add in the beans, broth, tomatoes, herbs de Provençe, and pepper. Bring to a boil; reduce the heat to low. Simmer uncovered for about 5 minutes. Stir in the spinach. Simmer for 5 more minutes. Sprinkle each serving with cheese.
