From my experience with nutrasweet it is dangerous and needs to be taken off the market It caused many symptoms including thoughts of suicide, depression, spot in front of my eyes, loss of blood sugar control and many more.
Thank you for the wonderful recipes you present in the magazine. I love every one that I have tried. I can't imagine anyone asking you to leave the recipes out. Who knew that rutabaga and carrots could taste so good? (Feb.09) I didn't. I didn't even know how to prepare rutabaga. I clip and keep the recipes in a folder in my kitchen. My grocery shopping is now planned around DF recipes and DF tips. I was pleased to read in the June issue that you are not dropping the recipe section. As diabetics we are all obligated to eat better so we can do a better job of managing this pervasive disease. Keep up the good work DF. I look forward to my copy with tips and recipes with great anticipation.
I also like to use Suzanne Somers "Somersweet" products: packets, powders, etc. A superior and natural sweetner that mimics the quality of real sugar, with zero calories.
I just read a study duke university states splenda alters gut microflora incresses glycoprotein which helps feed the fungus that we fight a lot anyone else heard of this?
